While you may not want to use the TRX for all of your asanas, it's perfect for helping you progress into poses like headstand and standing backbend.  With the suspension trainer as extra support, you don't have to worry about falling out of a pose. Eventually, your muscles will learn the poses and you'll build strength, so you'll be able to perform the poses without support.
